Thomas Granville Lawrence, age 91 of Murfreesboro died Monday August 19, 2013 at NHC of Murfreesboro. He was a native of the Barfield Community in Rutherford County and was preceded in death by his wife, Robbie Hoover Lawrence, parents, Hardy "Hal" Thomas Lawrence, and Bernice Couch Lawrence. Mr. Lawrence was a member of Farris Chapel United Methodist Church. Being a farmer all his life, he had plowed, sowed, mowed, and harvest crops all over Rutherford County. Mr. Lawrence is survived by his daughter; Diana Lawrence Busey of Murfreesboro; cousin Jane Lawrence Stone of Nashville; and granddog, Cheyanne. A celebration of Mr. Lawrence life will be 3:00PM Sunday September 1, 2013 at Farris Chapel United Methodist Church, 2914 Barfield Road Murfreesboro, TN. Rev. Bob Tuttle and Rev.
