Thomas Pinckney Johnston IV, age 68 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Friday July 26, 2013. A native of Kingsport, TN, he was the son of the late Thomas Pinckney Johnston III, and Cecelia Anne Kilheffer Johnston. Mr. Johnston is survived by his daughter, Katie Peek, and her husband, Scott, and a grandson, Jackson Peek, all of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Richard Johnston, and his wife Patty, of Cedar Rapids, IA; sister, Annette Bowers, of Grand Rapids, MI; nieces, Kaitlin Boyse, and her husband, Lee, of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Jessica DeVries, and her husband, Michael, of Rockford, MI; great-niece, Avery DeVries, of Rockford, MI. Mr. Johnston was a retired Accounting Representative for Comcast Advertising. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cumberland Heights in memory of Mr. Johnston.
