Thomas Glen Bland, Sr. age 69 of Murfreesboro went to be with the Lord on Thursday July 14, 2011. He was a native of Columbia TN and was a graduate of Central High School in Columbia. He attended Martin College in Pulaski TN and was a member of the Tennessee Army National Guard. Mr. Bland moved to Murfreesboro in 1980 to become a partner with his brother Tommy Bland in Bland Motor Company. He spent the last 30 years in the automobile business at various dealerships. Glen was with Neill-Sandler for over 20 years. He was a member of Southeast Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. Mr. Bland was preceded in death by his son, Jason Bland; parents, Buford and Evelyn Bland; sister, Ann Sands and brother, Tommy Bland. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Donna Faye Bland; son, Thomas Tommy Glen Bland, Jr. and wife Kelley Bland; grandchildren, Abbigail Abby Bland; step-son, John Andy Farmer; brother, Harold Bland and wife Pat of Fairview, TN. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joe Vinson and Rev. John Parton officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
