Terry Thompson, age 58, of Murfreesboro, TN died on Saturday, February 28, 2015. He was a native of Rutherford County. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 12:00 Noon at Nashville National Cemetery with military honors. Brother Ron Caldwell will officiate. Mr. Thompson is survived by his two daughters, Jamie Thompson of Fairfax, VT and Maria Goolsby of Shelbyville, TN; parents, Bruce Jr. and Shirley Allman Thompson; two sisters, Connie Sullins of Murfreesboro, TN and Teresa Long of Murfreesboro, TN; and six grandchildren, Jonathan, Kasey and Samuel Goolsby of Shelbyville, Faith and Hope Marshall, and Sam E. Graves II all of Fairfax, VT. Mr. Terry was a proud Veteran of the United States Army and had worked in Construction. He loved old cars and motorcycles and enjoyed working on them. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
