Absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Mrs. Terri Renee Leonard was ushered by the angels into the presence of her heavenly father on August 30, 2010. She will be forever missed by her husband of 21 years, Scott Leonard, her children, Shawn and Marian Leonard. She will be missed by her immediate family, grandmother Ophelia Rogers Rawls, mother Wanda McElroy, father Johnny Jenkins, mother and father-in-law Edwin and Sharon Leonard, devoted sister and friend Diana Crow Freeman, sister Joanna (Dave) Hyde, step sister Jeana (Phillip) Rediker, sisters-in-law Holly Lafuenti and Laurel Schneider, and her many nieces and nephews. Terri will always be in the heart of her closest and dearest friend Sundae Ford. She was preceded in death by her step father Danny Ross McElroy, grandfathers Marion Wallace Rogers and Albert Jenkins, grandmother Odessa Jenkins, and beloved uncle Donald Stephens. Visitation will be from 11:00am until 8:00pm Wednesday and from 11:00am until 1:00pm Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Bill Thomason officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
