Teri Tipton Dedmon

Teri Tipton Dedmon, age 71, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026. She was preceded in death by her father, Tony Bruce Tipton; mother, Eleanor Murphy Tipton; father of her children, Charles Wayne Dedmon; and sister, Emma Jeane Bailey.

She is survived by her sister, Toni Tipton; brother, Robert Allen Blansett; sons, Chase Wayne Dedmon, Adam Thomas Dedmon, Brian Tinnon Dedmon, and Christopher Campbell Dedmon; daughters-in-law, Megan Denise Dedmon, Julee Mae Dedmon, Dana Rountree Dedmon; and grandchildren, Aleena Tasche Dedmon, Ava Harper Dedmon, and Vivian Mae Dedmon.

Teri, also known as Tadie, was a strong-willed woman with a heart one-thousand times her small frame. She lived a life full of joy, adventure, and wonder. She would always say that her biggest accomplishments were being a mother and grandmother. In her spare time, she loved sewing, crafting, antiquing, and gardening.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, May 8, 2026 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna. Memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM.
