Mrs. Teresa Howard Garrett Richardson, age 76, of Murfreesboro, TN passed from this earth on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, and enjoyed the ultimate birthday celebration as she walked into Jesus' arms fully healed.

Mrs. Richardson was born in Lebanon, TN to the late Horace and Lucille Eakes Garrett. She earned her bachelor's degree from David Lipscomb College and worked on her master's degree at MTSU.  She retired from Middle Tennessee Christian School as a 1 ^st grade teacher and stayed on as a teacher's aide due to her great love for her students. Mrs. Richardson was a long-time member and Sunday school teacher in the church of Christ, having been a member at North Boulevard for nearly 20 years. Her favorite role in life was being a mom and Grammy to her beloved "grands." Her hobbies included reading, journaling, and baking. She also enjoyed using her hands to quilt, cross stitch, and has made countless diaper bags for new mothers.

Mrs. Richardson is survived by her children, Jon Micah Richardson and his wife Jennifer of Gallatin, TN, Dana Romans and her husband Erek of Murfreesboro, Amy Richardson of Murfreesboro, and Lori Burleson and her husband Hal of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Ryan, Jared, Christine, Lara, Jack, Luke, Caleb, Jacob, and Max; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Waldean Richardson and her husband Steve and Tawanda Travis and her husband Ronnie; brother-in-law, James Whiteaker; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Richardson, and a sister, Katy Whiteaker.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, March 6, 2023 at 11:00 am at North Boulevard Church of Christ.
