TERESA TERRY MERRYMAN, age 51 of Smyrna, died July 12, 2011 at home. Ms. Merryman was a native of Oakland, CA, and daughter of Portia Gallagher Sinnott and the late William John Sinnott. A memorial service will be held Friday at 7:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 Friday at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Ms. Merryman is survived by her son, Jesse (Malinda) Merryman, Murfreesboro; daughter, Michelle Merryman, Smyrna; mother, Portia Sinnott, Sonora, CA; sibblings, Patrick J. Sinnott, Concord, MA, Kathleen Sinnott, Santa Rosa, CA, Portia Maureen Sinnott, Sebastopal, CA, and William Timothy Sinnott, Danville, CA; grandchildren, Jayden and Camryn Merryman. She was preceded in death by grandchildren, Chase and Madyson Merryman. Ms. Merryman was a former office manager for Labor Finders. Her daughter Michelle says of her mother, not only was she my mother, but she was my everything, and she passed in the arms that loved her the most.
