Tennie Mae Underwood Keyt, age 89, died Sunday, July 22, 2012 at MTMC. Mrs. Keyt was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Welcher Underwood. She is also preceded in death by her son Cyrus Keyt; and siblings Lucille Vickers, Mattie Hamby, Mark, Carl, Gene, Frank and Oakley Underwood. Ms. Keyt is survived by her son Dennis Keyt and his wife Burmiekay of Rockvale, and Rick Keyt of Murfreesboro; daughter Sandra Gossett of Murfreesboro; brother Roy Underwood; sisters Hazel Babb, Pauline, Lilly, and Roberta; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Murfreesboro. W.D. Thomason will officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
