Sylvia "Syd" Baker Savage, age 90, of Smyrna, TN went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 22, 2016. A native of White County, TN she was the daughter of the late Dave and Elizabeth Baker. She was also preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Brother Dan Dale will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Savage is survived by her loving husband of 74 years, Mr. John G. Savage; son, John "Johnny" G. Savage Jr. and his wife Debbie of Smyrna; daughters, Patricia A. Beaumont of LaVergne, TN and Elizabeth Kay Fee and her husband Philip of Smyrna; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; along with much extended loving family.

Mrs. Savage was a member of Stones River Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, singing and dancing. Mrs. Savage was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna.
