SYLVIA JUNE BLY TROTTER, age 70, of Smyrna died Sunday August 9, 2009. She was a native of Murfreesboro, and was preceded in death by her parents, John and Annabelle Jacobs Bly, brothers; Buck, Buddy, Eddie, and Danny Bly. She was a devoted mother. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Friday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna with Bro. James Averitt officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. She is survived by sons; Larry and David Trotter of North Carolina, daughter, Joyce Ann Stewart of Smyrna, grandchildren; Jeremy Trotter of Murfreesboro, Kimberly Dawn Robertson of Mt. Juliet, Gabriel Trotter and Scott Hall both North Carolina, Jennifer Trotter of Michigan, four great-grandchildren, her brother, Charles Bly of Smyrna; and her sister; Amanda Joyce Phillips of Florida. Mrs. Trotter was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and a Conductress with the V.F.W. She was also a member of the Democratic Party.
