SVEN MEDELL, age 82, passed away June 21, 2011 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Mr. Medell was a native of the country of Estonia, and son of the late Ilse and Rowland Medell. He lived a few years in Germany and the rest of his life in the USA. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Bush officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mr. Medell is survived by his wife, Florena Todd Medell; son, Ken (Anne) Medell, White Lake, MI; daughters, Kim ( Gary) Turner, Fairview, PA, and Karen (Greg) Mason, Brighton, MI; step children, Donna (Harold) Mercer, Murfreesboro, Cindy (Paul) Maynor, Readyville, and Sonny (Jamie) Todd, Murfreesboro; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren. Mr. Medell was certified dental technician. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Caris Hospice. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
