Susan Mary Yates, age 64, of Smyrna, TN passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012. A native of Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Clinton Green and Lucille Leggiadro Green. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Dennis Green. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:00PM at St. Lukes Catholic Church. A graveside service will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Mrs. Yates is survived by her husband David Yates; daugthers, Samantha Whorley and Andrea Hickey; four grandchildren, Alex, Susan, Matthew and David; a sister, Diane Green and a brother, Clinton Green. Mrs. Yates was a member of St. Lukes Catholic Church. She and her husband David were the owners of Yates Family Restaurant in Smyrna for many years.
