SUSAN DIANE TYGER ACKLEY WATKINS, age 70, of Smyrna, TN, passed away on January 30, 2018

She was born April 22, 1947 in Bradford, PA.  She was daughter of the late Max and Harriet Wagner Tyger, Sr.  She was also a long time resident of Salamanca, NY and Randolph, NY.  She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Francis "Fran" Watkins, of Smyrna, TN, daughters, Richelle (Wendell) Davis and Amy (Todd) Noel, both of Smyrna, TN and Sons, Michael (April) Ackley, Gladbrook, Iowa and Richard Ackley, Salamanca, NY, Sisters Darlene Mohr, Killbuck, NY and Marlene Woodin, Salamanca, NY, Brothers, Richard (Linda) Tyger, Bradford, PA and Dennis (Donna) Tyger, Jamestown, NY, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  Many, many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by Brothers Max Tyger, Jr. and Robert Tyger, Sr. and sister Bonnie K. Tyger.

Susan was a 1965 graduate of Bradford Area High School , Bradford, PA.  She had a variety of careers over the years that included a Nursing Home Asst, a Nanny and a Teacher's Aid.  She loved spending time with her family, reading and watching Hallmark movies.  She was a member of Rutherford County Baptist Church, Smyrna, TN

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018, from 2:30-4:00 at Rutherford County Baptist Church, 5742 Seminary Rd, Smyrna, TN, followed by Celebration of Life Service at 4pm.  In addition, the Celebration Service will be streamed live via the church's Facebook page.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Rutherford County Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Susan.
