Susan Beth Jackson, age 62, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Drew Chidester and a son, Ryan Jackson.

She is survived by her husband, Walter E. Jackson, III; children, Walter E. Jackson, IV and his wife Jennifer, Shawn Jackson, Dana Gomez, Casey Molina and her husband Tony, Corey Parkin; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild; mother, Frieda Chidester; brothers, David Chidester, Drew Mark Chidester and his wife Judy; sisters, Cindy Reiland, Lisa Geardino and her husband Glenn; and numerous other family and friends.

Susan was Regional Vice President and a CPCU for Liberty Mutual Insurance. Strong willed, type AA personality, Susan had a huge and generous heart. Susan was larger than life, endlessly gave to people during her life and with Donate Life she was able to continue giving gifts to people after her passing.  She was an avid reader and loved to challenge anyone to a game of pickleball. Susan had a special way of showing her love. She was blunt, fiercely loyal and loved hard. She will always be remembered by her strong personality, generosity, love, and decorative language.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, September 20, 2021 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel from 12:00-2:00 PM. Pastor Kimberly Ray, M.Div will officiate the funeral service at 2:00 PM.
