SUSAN MINOR DORRIS, age 59 of Murfreesboro died at home September 29, 2008. She was a native of Maury County and the daughter of the late Roland and Lucille Andrews Minor. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro and was a retired Teacher and Fine Jewelry Associate. She was a graduate of Peabody of Vanderbilt. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Michael OBannon officiating. Graveside services will follow at 1:00PM at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia, Tennessee. Visitation will be 4:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, William David Dave Dorris, Jr. of Murfreesboro, and a aunt, Evelyn A. Gore, two cousins, Tommy and Charles Gore all of Franklin, two devoted companions Crystal and Dixie and was preceded in death by two other devoted companions, Tabby and Sammie.
