Susan L. Davis, age 62, passed away Wednesday, July, 26th 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. Susan was born on May 7th, 1956 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Bob and Martha Vickery. Susan was married for 42 years to her husband, Rod Davis from Jacksonville, Alabama. Susan was a devoted wife that brought creativity, joy, love and laughter to their marriage. Susan was the support rock that held the family together through good times and bad times.
Susan was an amazing and fiercely loyal mother to, Todd Davis and Brooke Davis Rogers. Susan spent countless hours ensuring the kids had everything they needed and more. She traveled the country attending all the kids sporting events and had a way of making them feel special and loved. Susan was known as (Nana/Nano) to her 9 grandchildren that all loved her very much. Susan was known for spoiling the grandkids and was affectionately referred to as, NanaClaus, by Rod. Susan impacted so many lives around her with her huge heart and generous soul.
Susan loved her friends and would drop anything to be by their sides during their times of need. Susan loved cooking enormous meals and took tremendous pride in making sure her loved ones had full bellies. Susan loved spending time with Rod at the lake and took pride in always catching the biggest fish. She enjoyed decorating (and was amazing at it) and she loved showering her loved ones with gifts. Susan also loved Auburn Football (War Eagle!).
Susan is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Rod Davis; Son, Todd Davis and his wife Laura; Daughter, Brooke Davis Rogers and her husband Chris; 9 grandchildren (Avery Davis, Parker Davis, Emerson Tovar, Maddox Davis, Lydie Tovar, Bo Davis Rogers, Daxton Davis, Finley Davis, and Jenna Rogers); Father, Bob Vickery; Mother, Martha Vickery; Brother, Bobby Vickery; Sister, Tina Chandler; and many nieces and nephews.
We love you Susan/Mom/Nana and will miss you so very much.
