SUE GARNER SEAT age 73 of Smyrna died Tuesday January 6, 2009 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was a native of Old Hickory, TN and was the daughter of the late Boy and Mildred Vaughter Garner. Funeral services will be at 1:30 Saturday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna. Pastor Dan Parker and Brother John Upchurch will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Seat was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and was a 1953 graduate of Du Pont High School in Old Hickory. She is survived by her husband: Tom Seat, two sons and their wives Jeff and Chris Seat of Antioch, and Roger and Julie Seat of Berthoud, CO, one daughter and her husband Joy and Gary Hartsfield of Murfreesboro, two brothers and their wives John and Jane Garner of Woodstock, GA, Steve and Beth Garner of Hendersonville, TN, one sister and her husband Peggy and Eddie Greer of Hendersonville, TN. Grandchildren, James Seat, Danielle Seat, Savanna Seat, Breanna Hartsfield, Joby Williams, and Great Grandchildren. Grandsons, nephews, and deacons of Parkway Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 Friday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna.
