Sue McKnight Davidson, age 88, of Murfreesboro, passed away September 7, 2015. She was a native of Rutherford County, and daughter of the late Carter Baxter and Mary Carlton McKnight. She was also preceded in death by her husband, the late Lon Hall Davidson, and a sister, the late Mary McKnight Arnette. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with David Dunn and David Skidmore officiating. Burial will be in Coleman Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Davidson is survived by her daughters, Gretchen Davidson Smith, and Autumn Davidson (Adam) Ward, both of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Katie Smith Howard, Alden Adam (Regina) Ward, and Alex Baxter Ward; and a great granddaughter, Poppy Josephine Howard. Mrs. Davidson was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ. Pallbearers will be Nicky, Norvell, David, and Adam Bowen, Jim Davidson, Jerry Campbell, Zach Ross, and Lawrence D. Smith.
