Mrs. Sudie Marie Pate, age 85, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019. She was born in Dickson County, TN to the late Oscar and Addie Mai Adams Brazzell. Mrs. Pate was a homemaker to her family and of the Baptist faith. She had quite the green thumb, making her a master gardener. She looked after any creature that had fur or feathers.

Mrs. Pate is survived by her three daughters, Brenda Kay Sawyer of Nashville, TN, Connie Gail Brown and her husband Allen of Camden, SC, and Carol Lynn Pedigo and her husband Tim of Murfreesboro; five grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cleaton James Pate; granddaughter, Stacie Puckett; three brothers; and two sisters.

Burial of Mrs. Pate's cremated remains will take place at McElhiney Cemetery in Tennessee City, TN at a later date.
