Stewart Allen North, age 73 of LaVergne died Saturday December 14, 2013. He was a native of Chicago Illinois and was the son of the late, James and Mary Jane Kern North. Mr. North was a retired Truck Driver and was founding member of Stewart North and Mule Skinners Band. He was a veteran of the United States Air force having served during the Vietnam Conflict, and was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Rose Hartman North; children, Cindy Casey and husband Jeff of Mt. Juliet, Tanya Worrell and husband Michael of Hermitage, Michael North of Nashville, Ricky Turner of California, Rodney Turner and wife Tanya of Washington, and Rob Turner of Washington; twelve grandchildren; twin brother John North and wife Carmen of Arkansas, and brother James North wife Carol of Florida.
