Steven Mitchell " Mitch" Riggan, age 58 of Rockvale died suddenly December 22, 2016. He was a native of Nashville and was veteran of United States Navy and had worked at Hardees on South Church Street in Murfreesboro. Mr. Riggan was preceded in death by his father, Morris Ponzi Riggan, his mother Gloria Wooten and her husband James "Jimmy" Wooten, and his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife Marie Riggan; son, Steven Riggan; brother, Mark Riggan, more friends that he knew like, Amenda Rosser,   Jeremiah Soorty, who called him My Homie! Felicia Chesterfield and the Hardees Crew especially, His uncle Paul Mittweld; his furry family, Brownie, Cayce, Little Man, Casper the Friendly Dog, and Hungry the cat.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be at a later date at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pergram.
