Mr. Stephen "Steve" Floyd Griffey, age 60, of Shelbyville, TN passed away Friday, October 2, 2020. He was a native of Adams, TN. Steve was a hard worker and enjoyed remodeling and painting. He most recently worked for TDOT. He enjoyed playing pool, riding his motorcycle, and horse trading. He was of the Baptist faith.

Steve is survived by his daughters, Heather Nicole Laine and her husband Jerry of Cedar Hill, TN and Stephanie Jo Gregg and her husband Mike of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Abeni Mitchell, Alexis Laine, Hayleigh Mitchell, and Lincoln Gregg; brother, David York of LaVergne, TN; nieces and nephews, Angela, Stephanie, Bobby, Sara, and Ryan; faithful canine companion, Smokey; cats, Rosie and Wild Cat; and opossum, Daisy. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Griffey, and a brother, George Griffey.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, October 5, 2020 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 12:00noon at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
