Stephen Mitchell "Mitch" McKenzie, age 53, of Smyrna, died May 25, 2014 at home. He was a native of Paris, TN, and son of the late William Lee and Mary Elizabeth Feuerstacke McKenzie. A memorial service will be held Friday May 30, 2014 at 5:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro. Visitation will be from 3:00 until service time Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mr. McKenzie is survived by his wife Rita Layne McKenzie; children, Stephen Murray McKenzie, Christopher Allen Layne (Sabrina Warrick)of LaVergne, and Rebecca Lynn Layne (Rocky Melton) of Smyrna; grandchildren, Tory Melton, and Tara, Jamie, and Thomas Fisher; sisters, Mary Lee Tidwell (Blake)of Murfreesboro and Carolyn Curtis of Sugarland, Texas; and brother, Andy McKenzie of Asheville, NC.
