Stephen R. McCollum, age 62 of Murfreesboro died January 3, 2010. He was a native of DuQuoin Illinois, and he was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Wendling McCollum. Mr. McCollum was a member of Third Baptist Church and a graduate of MTSU. He was purchasing agent with Haynes Brothers Lumber, and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sheila Gibson McCollum; father, Harry McCollum, Sr. and brother, Harry McCollum, Jr. both of DuQuoin, Illinois; and several nephews and a niece. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. F. Murray Mathis officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
