Stephen Brawner Anderson age 81 of Smyrna died Sunday February 3, 2019. He was a native of Rutherford County and was the son of the late, John Howard Anderson and Sara Brawner Anderson was also preceded in death by grandson, Stephen Anderson, II., and sister, Gloria Woodbury. Mr. Anderson was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church and 1955 graduate of Central High School. Mr. Anderson was retired from Nissan.

He is survived by his son, Stephen Anderson and wife Jennifer and Murfreesboro; siblings, Magdalene Free and husband Duane of Murfreesboro, Virginia Page of Bradyville, Betty Bowerman of Murfreesboro, Carol Burns and husband Tom of Texas, Faye Lambert and husband Walt of Rockvale, John Anderson, Jr. and wife Joanna of Ardmore, Jerry Anderson and wife Renee of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Kayla Baker and husband Lennon of Chattanooga, Molly Kate Anderson of Murfreesboro; great- grandchildren, Ellie Anderson and Londyn Baker.

Visitation will be 11AM until 1PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 1PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Brother Dan Parker will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. www.woodfinchapel.com
