Stephen B. Anderson age 24 of Murfreesboro, died Thursday May 30, 2013. A native of Shelbyville, he is survived by his father and step mother, Stephen B. "Pete" and Jennifer Anderson of Murfreesboro; mother and step father, Kimberly and Jay Mantooth of Shelbyville; sisters, Kayla and Molly Kate Anderson both of Murfreesboro; grandparents, Ken and Judi Abdo of Murfreesboro, Charlotte English of Shelbyville, and Steven Anderson of Smyrna. Mr. Anderson had served in the U.S. Army as a combat infantryman. He had received the Afghanistan Campaign Medal and the Iraq Campaign Medal, two Campaign Stars, Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00pm Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Tuesday at Woodfin memorial Chapel.
