Stephanie Ann Rowlette Scruggs, age 30 of Murfreesboro died from a lengthy illness Friday, June 28, 2013 surrounded by her family at MTMC. She was a native of Murfreesboro and a member of World Outreach Church. She was preceded in death by her father James Rowlette, grandparents Mary Alice McKnight, and TR and Beulah Rowlette. Survivors include her husband Jeremy Scruggs; her mother and father Debby and Thomas Rowlette; sisters Michelle Davy and her husband Raymond and Jennifer Allen and her husband Seth; maternal grandfather Rev. Charles McKnight and his wife Carolyn; mother and father in law Melinda and Calvin Sanford; nieces and nephews Kayla and Christy Scruggs, Brooklyn and Wil Allen, and Abigail Davy all of Murfreesboro. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 until 6:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be 4:00pm Monday in Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jim Wideman officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Seth Allen, Raymond Davy, Charles Andy Scruggs, Bobby McKnight, Calvin Sanford and Doug York.
