Mr. Sidney "Sid" Warren Cromwell, age 85, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015. He was born in Bell Buckle, TN to the late Clyde, Sr. and Annie Mai Thompson Cromwell. Mr. Cromwell was a charter member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church and a 1948 Graduate of Murfreesboro's Central High School. He also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Mr. Cromwell is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy Stewart Cromwell; three sons, Scott Cromwell of Murfreesboro, Redge Cromwell and his wife Michelle of Murfreesboro, and Craig Cromwell and his wife Lisa of Chesterton, IN; daughter, Mellanie Chorney and her husband Tom of Kennesaw, GA; and three grandchildren, Sydney Cromwell, Kai Cromwell, and Emma Chorney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clyde Cromwell, Jr. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Military honors will be performed at 7:00pm. The family would like to thank Caris Hospice for their kindness and help in caring for Sid. Per the family's request, please do not send flowers.
