Shirley Brandon Workman, age 71, of Murfreesboro, died February 15, 2011 at MTMC. Mrs. Workman was a native of Rutherford County and daughter of the late Jordan and Grace Gannon Brandon. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Dr. Fred E. A. Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Workman is survived by her husband, William C. Bill Workman; two daughters Carole Marie Outen and Lisa Ann Pentecost both of Murfreesboro; one sister, Faye Jernigan of Manchester; and three grandchildren, Curtis Burrell, Nicholas Pentecost, and Carrie Outen. Mrs. Workman was a member of Short Creek Baptist Church and was a 1952 graduate of Christiana High School. She was a retired Coordinator at Nissan. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
