Shirley Todd Riddle, 89, was born on February 4, 1929, and passed away on December 5, 2018. She was a former resident of Indianapolis, Carmel, Sheridan, Zionsville, Greenfield and Monticello, Indiana; Donna, Texas and most recently, Manchester, Tennessee.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann Crane, Murfreesboro, TN, niece Carolyn Foley, Indianapolis, IN and nephews, Richard Conrad, Greenwood, IN and Johnny Conrad, Indianapolis, IN, Charles Foley, Carmel, IN, Curt Foley, Louisville, KY and Chris Foley, Noblesville, IN, 9 great-nieces and nephews and 1 great-niece.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Lawrence (Larry) Riddle, who was a WWII veteran, baby son Troy Wayne, parents Claude and Dora Owen Todd, sister, Phyllis Conrad Foley and infant brother, Donald.

Shirley was elected to serve as the Hancock County, Indiana Clerk of the Circuit Court, 1975-1982. She was chosen the Clerk of the Year of the Circuit Courts of the State of Indiana in 1979. Shirley was a former president of Upsilon Tri Kappa, Business and Professional Women's Club and in the following years was active in several civic activities in Hancock County, Indiana.

For many years Shirley was a member of the Lutheran Missouri Synod Church.

Larry and Shirley spent many fun years traveling in their motorhome before his death in 2008. Shirley was an avid bridge player and enjoyed the culinary arts. Being with family and friends though brought the Greatest Joy to her.

In keeping with Shirley's wishes, there will be no formal visitation or services. Woodfin Funeral Chapels, Murfreesboro, TN provided cremation services. Online condolences may be made at woodfinchapel.com .

Internment will take place at Mounts Runn Cemetery, Zionsville, IN and Private Services will be held at a later date.
