Shirley Louise Lawson Maxwell, age 65 of the Fellowship Community, passed away Tuesday July 9, 2013. A native of Wartrace, TN, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Elizabeth Mooneyham Lawson. Mrs. Maxwell was also preceded in death by her son, David Merle Maxwell, II and by a brother, Bobby Gene Lawson. Mrs. Maxwell is survived by her husband, David Merle Maxwell, Sr.; two grandchildren, David Merle Maxwell, III of the Fellowship Communtiy and Angayla Maxwell of Smyrna, TN; sister Debbie Lawson of Rock Island, TN. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Friday at the Old Beech Grove Cemetery with Brother Ron Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Beech Grove Cemetery.
