SHIRLEY ANN JONES VINSON, age 69, of Smyrna, TN., died Sunday October 31, 2010 at her home. A native of Red Boiling Springs, TN. she was the daughter of the late Otis and Zelma Griffith Jones. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Jones Vinson. Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Brother Wayne Cornwell will officiate. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM in Phillip Anderson and Son Memorial Park in Lafayette, TN. Mrs. Vinson is survived by her husband, William Dowl Vinson; daughters and son in law, Connie (Marc) Adkins of Smyrna and Cathy Hewitt of Blackman; four grandchildren, Amber and Adam Adkins, Jessica (Nate) Frey, and Joshua Johnson; a brother in law, Joe Vinson of Red Boiling Springs, TN. and a niece, Cherri Roberts of Oakridge, TN. Mrs. Vinson was a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ and a retired customer administrator with Service Merchandise. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at WOODFIN CHAPEL SMYRNA. 459-3254
