Shirley Jean Irby Scott , age 59 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016. A native of Paris, TN, she was the daughter of the late Robert Newton and Dorothy Louise Linn Irby.

Ms Scott is survived by her daughters, Meghan Diana Scott and Jessica Paige Scott both of Murfreesboro, TN; brothers, Robert Dennis Irby, David Linn Irby, and Glenn Edward Irby; sisters, Patricia Ann Irby, Donna Kaye Pennington, and Rhonda Sue Allen all of Henry County, TN; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Chaplain David Irby officiating. Visitation will be Sunday two hours before the 4:00 pm service.

Ms Scott was raised in the Methodist church and was an Eye Technician with the VA Hospital in Nashville.
