Shirley Anne Faulkner, age 80, passed away December 22, 2015. She was a native of Hayti, MO, and daughter of the late Ed Ball and Ida McDonald Ball Trout. She was also preceded in death by her step father, Leo Trout. Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 5:00 PM Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015 at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.

Mrs. Faulkner is survived by her husband, Dr. Brooks R. Faulkner; daughter, Missy Zaleski of Smyrna; son, Tony Faulkner of Watertown; grandchildren, Zach Zaleski and Brooke Zaleski; and a great granddaughter, Paisley Zaleski.

Mrs. Faulkner was a retired Smyrna school teacherhaving taught for over 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Nashville.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
