SHELLIE IVIE JONES age 90 of Murfreesboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday January 22, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Lucy Mai Ogles Ivie. Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughters Debra (Butch) Hooper of Murfreesboro, Patricia (Alvin) Bain Jr., of Friendsville,TN., son Allen (Pam) Jones of Dickson and a life long friend, Mrs. Johnnie Willis. She was preceded in death by her husband Ben Houston Jones who died in 2000, her daughter Mitzie Jones Huff, sister Mollie Mai Perez, and a brother Green Clark. Mrs. Jones was a 1942 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. with visitation beginning at 11:30 Tuesday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel. Brother A.D. Reed will officiate. Burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randall Robinson, Alton Robinson, Denny Huff, Daniel Brown, Bobby Jones, Travis Hill, and Greg Nicholas.
