Sharon Nicole Smith, age 40 of LaVergne, Tennessee, died Friday, September 25, 2015 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville. She was a native of Scottsville, Kentucky and was a 1993 graduate of Allen County-Scottsville High School. She graduated Western Kentucky University in 1997 with her bachelor's in dental hygiene and was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Sharon was a member of LifePoint Church in Smyrna and was a registered dental hygienist at Warise Family Dentistry. Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Scotty Smith; their children, Carter, Conner, and Kennedy Smith, all of LaVergne; parents, Ron and Sue Keen; a sister, Rhonda Bray and husband Shea; and paternal grandmother, Novice Keen, all of Scottsville, KY. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Cordell Keen, and maternal grandmother, Gladys Howard. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro and again Thursday from 2:00 until 9:00pm at Goad Funeral Home in Scottsville, KY.
