Obituary

Sharon Maxine Pope, age 78 of Murfreesboro died Wednesday, August 22, 2018. She was a native of Normandy and was preceded in death by her husband, William Carroll Pope; son, David Pope; parents, Ellis and Evelyn Crosslin Bush; brother Billy Bush. Mrs. Pope was a member of Old Leb Methodist Church and an accomplished seamstress with White Stag for 27 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Denise Pope of Murfreesboro, Vicki Rhoton and husband Frank of Manchester; grandchildren; Morgan, Misty, Shannon, and Virginia; three great-grandchildren;  daughter-in-law, Edie Pope of Murfreesboro; sisters, Faye Davenport and Jean Wood; long-time companion, Mitch Lamb.

Visitation will be 11AM until 1PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 1PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Jerry Daugherty officiating. Burial will follow in Westbrooks Cemetery. www.woodfinchapel.com
