Mrs. Sharon Marie Cooper of Memphis, 64 years old, passed from this life on Monday, September 30th, 2024. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Stewart Frances Jackson. Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Church of Christ and a teacher of kindergarten through 2nd grade for the Memphis school system for many years. Mrs. Cooper graduated from the University of Memphis with a master's degree in childhood education while raising a family. Teaching and enriching children's lives were two of her greatest passions and loves along with her focuses on family and her faith in the Lord. She is survived by her husband of 44 years Kirk Edmund Lynn Cooper, children Owen Cooper(Betsy), Ryan Cooper(Candice),Randall Cooper(Dannette), Mary Cooper Starns(Mason), grandchildren Nora, Myles, Zinnia, Abel, Enez, Connor, Grayson and Bran, father Sherman Mears Jackson, sisters Miranda Jackson, Iris Jackson, Valerie Jackson Howard(Roger),  Sister-in-law Sharon Cooper, and many cousins and extended family from Georgia to Maryland. Visitation will be Monday, October 7th 9AM until 10AM at the Milton Church of Christ. Funeral service will be at 10AM.
