Sawyer Robert McAvoy , age 21 of Liberty, TN, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016. He was born in Murfreesboro, TN.

Sawyer is survived by his mother, Heather White McAvoy of Hohenwald, TN; father, Robert Dale McAvoy of Lascassas, TN; daughter, Viviana Marie McAvoy of Hohenwald, TN; sister, Graceann Virginia McAvoy of Hohenwald, TN; grandparents, Robert and Jenny White of Liberty, TN, Robert McAvoy of Lascassas, TN, and Betty Hammond of Murfreesboro, TN.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church, with Rev. Dr. John Purdue officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery with friends serving as pallbearers.

Sawyer was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He will be remembered for his humor, compassion, and loving, friendly outgoing nature. Memorials in memory of Sawyer may be made to the fund for Viviana, at Pinnacle Bank, 114 West College St. Murfreesboro, TN 37130.
