Saul Martinez

Saul Antonio Martinez, age 20, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. He was born in Warrenton, Virginia, to Saul Bonilla-Martinez and Yesenia Cruz.

Saul was a loving son, brother, nephew, and family member whose presence brought so much love to those around him. He was known for his kind heart, hardworking spirit, and the love he had for his family. At just 20 years old, Saul had already shown determination, dedication, and a strong desire to build a future for himself.

A proud 2024 graduate of Smyrna High School, Saul continued pursuing his goals by earning his welding certificate from TCAT Smyrna in December 2025. He went on to work as a welder at Talos Engineered Products, where he continued to demonstrate his strong work ethic and commitment.

Outside of work, Saul enjoyed staying active, working out, and boxing. He also loved spending time playing his favorite video games, including FIFA, Call of Duty, and Assassin’s Creed on his PlayStation. These were some of the things that brought him happiness and made him who he was.

Above all, Saul loved his family. His family was an important part of his life, and the love he shared with them will forever remain in their hearts. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories, moments, and love he gave will never be forgotten. He leaves behind a family who will continue to carry his memory with them every day.

Saul is survived by his loving mother, Yesenia Cruz; his father, Saul Bonilla-Martinez; his siblings, Wendy, Sebastian, Javier, and Jamileth; his aunts, Linda Funez and Leslie Acevedo; his uncle, Francisco Acevedo; and many extended family members who loved him dearly.

Though Saul’s life was taken far too soon, his memory will live on through the people who loved him. He will forever be remembered as a beloved son, brother, and family member. He may be gone from our sight, but he will never be gone from our hearts.

Forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
