Sara Davidson Williamson, age 80, of Nashville, TN, died Sunday, July 31, 2016. A native of Rutherford County, she was preceded in death by her parents, L. Davidson and Mary Lou Gordon Davidson; and husband, Charles E. Williamson who died in 2011.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church in Nashville. Rev. Bryan Brooks and Jim Hardaway will officiate. Visitation will begin Sunday at the church after 1:00 p.m. A graveside service will be Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in the Gordon Family Cemetery in Christiana, TN.

Mrs. Williamson is survived by her son, Charles E. Williamson Jr. and his wife Beth of Nashville; daughter, Sandra Williamson Smith and her husband Rick of Lebanon, TN; grandchildren, Charles E. "Trey" Williamson III, Lauren Elizabeth Williamson, Brad Smith and Ryan Smith; and one great-grandchild, Luke Smith.

Mrs. Williamson was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a 1954 graduate of Central High School in Murfreesboro and attended Southwestern University.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
