SARA HERROD NORRIS age 95, died Thursday December 30, 2010. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Franklin and Carrie Davis Herrod. Mrs. Norris was married to the late Charles Henry Buddy Norris who died in 2003. Mrs. Norris is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Charlene Norris and Mary Carolyn Hatcliff both of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Betsy Hatcliff Sharley and husband Dan, Charles Hatcliff and wife Tina, Patrick Hatcliff and wife Mary, and Allison McGoffin and husband Mikey all of Murfreesboro, TN; great grandchildren; Parker, Easton, Caitlin, Carley, Jordan, and Fiona, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will 1:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joe Elliott and Rev. Bob Niles officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Norris was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and a homemaker. Pallbearers will be Charles and Patrick Hatcliff, Tommy, Mike, and Peter Norris, Tommy and Trevor Lynch, Joe Bell, and Tommy McCollum. Honorary pallbearers will be Sonny and Jack McCollum, Will Henderson, Tommy Lynch, and Rex Allen. Memorials may be made to Community Care of Rutherford County, 901 East County Farm Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37127, the Alzeimers Association, or to Bethel United Methodist Church in memory of Mrs. Norris.
