Sara Louise Grimes Beaty , age 92 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Monday January 15, 2018. A native of Alcorn, MS, she was the daughter of the late Monroe and Kitty Dilworth Grimes. Mrs. Beaty was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Whittle and a sister Katherine Nordby and brothers, Stacy and Jerry Grimes.

Mrs. Beaty is survived by her husband, John W. Beaty, Jr.; a son, Larry Beaty and his wife Annie of Reston, VA; daughter, Connie Reasonover of Smyrna, TN; sisters, Mary Moore of Hendersonville, TN, and Martha Hiller of Cornith, MS; eight grandchildren, Michael Reasonover, Alicia (Todd) Mangrum, Damon (Krystal) Reasonover, Rachel (Dustin) Graves, Brad (Ashley) Beaty, Amy (Jacob) Miles, Meredith (Jamey) Greene, and Matthew Whittle; and 12 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 12:00 Noon Thursday at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Beaty was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker.
