Sara Lyon Farris, age 77 of Rockvale, died Thursday June 5, 2014 at St. Thomas Rutherford. She was a native of Rockvale and the daughter of the late James A. and Aileen Carter Lyon. Mrs. Farris is survived by her husband Bob Farris; a daughter Cindy Caudle and her husband Joe of Franklin; sons Bob Farris II and wife Tracy of Lexington, KY and Tony Farris of Dallas, TX; two grandchildren Cameron Caudle and Reagan Farris. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday at Rockvale Church of Christ. Bro. Don Mangrum and Bro. Shane Merritt will officiate. Burial will be in the Farris Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Farris was a member of the Rockvale Church of Christ and a 1955 graduate of Rockvale High School. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 until 7:00pm at the Rockvale Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to the Rockvale Church of Christ in memory of Mrs. Farris.
