Sara Davis Maloney

Sara Davis Maloney, age 99, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2026. A native of Cookeville, TN, she was the daughter of Oscar W. Davis and Bertha Lewis Davis. Mrs. Maloney was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Susan Maloney; husband, David Maloney; grandson, Wesley Chavis; brother, Arnold Davis; and sisters, Eva Alford and Bobbie Martin.

Mrs. Maloney is survived by her sons, Steve Maloney of Murfreesboro, TN, and Joe Maloney and his wife Denise of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter, Cathy Chavis and her husband Richard of Pike Road, AL; grandchildren, Ryan and Conor Maloney, and Ashley Chavis; ten great-grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery with Bro. Marty Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Maloney was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
