Sanford A. "Bill" Wilson age 87 of Murfreesboro, passed away Thursday May 21, 2015. A native of Robertson County, he was the son of the late Walter and Gustie Cook Wilson. He was also preceded in death by a brother; Woodrow Wilson and a sister; Frances Wilson Cook. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of 65 years; Ruth "Joyce" Wilson, son; Mark Wilson and his wife Candace Farmer Wilson and three grandsons; Evan Wilson, Seth Wilson and Kyle Wilson all of Murfreesboro. Mr. Wilson better known as Willy to his co- workers, retired from G.E. after 30 years of service. He also was a U.S. Marine Veteran serving during peace time. Visitation will be 4:00pm until 8:00pm Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside service will be 2:00pm Saturday at Springfield Memorial Gardens with Brother James Tipton officiating.
