Sandra Elizabeth Barker

Sandra Elizabeth Barker, age 81 of Smyrna passed away Tuesday October 13, 2026, at her home. She was born in Nashville and was preceded in death by her parents, Houston Tankersley Hartman, Sr., and Lois Vera Foster Hartman.

Mrs. Barker was retired from Whirlpool in La Vergne and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Don Barker; children, Pam Adams and Lex Barker and wife Theresa; grandchildren, Daniel Adams and wife Ania, Samantha Adams and husband Bradford, Curtis Barker and wife Megan, Derrick Barker and wife Brenna, Devin Barker; great-grandchildren, Kai, Ayla, Jackson, Marina, Cami; sister, Shela Hartma; brothers, Jinx Hartman and wife Gwen, Lucky Mace and wife Daphne.

Visitation will be Saturday October 17th 10:00AM until 1:00PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be Saturday October 17th 1:00PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Vince Sims will officiate. Interment to follow in Mapleview Cemetery. www.woodfinchapel.com
