Samuel Kenneth Mountain, age 89 of LaVergne died Saturday November 3, 2018. He was a native of Loudon County and was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Mountain, second wife, Della Francis Mountain; parents, Charles and Louda Carr Mountain. Mr. Mountain was retired from the United States Air Force, and had worked for the water department in LaVergne. He was a Christian.

Mr. Mountain is survived by his son, Daniel Mountain and wife Lois of Smithville; grandchildren; Jeremiah Mountain of Smithville, Zachariah Mountain wife Leona of Maine; great-granddaughters, Aubree and Maddison; sisters, Evelyn Poore of California.

Visitation will be after 9AM Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be at 11AM Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Entombment with Military Honors will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. www.woodfinchapel.com
