Sammie Ethelene Frye, age 94 of Smyrna, TN passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013. A native of Smith County, TN she was the daughter of the late Samuel Fuller and Jennie Bell Farmer Fuller. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David Haskel Frye who died in 1993. Mrs. Frye was a member of Stones River Baptist Church and retired from Lebanon Precision Rubber Company. Mrs. Frye is survived by her two daughters, Eleanor Walker of Smyrna and Jennie (Claude) Clements of Brentwood; seven grandchildren, Rickey (Sharon) Walker, Kimberly Walker, David (Tammy) Walker, Michael (Melanie) Walker, Kellie Clements, Kerrie Clements (Jason) Hall, and Claudia Clements (David) Emfinger; ten great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 4:00 until 8:00pm; and, from 12:00 Noon until the time of services beginning at 1:00 pm Friday, January 11, 2013 at Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Smyrna. Brother Joe Clark will officiate. Burial will follow at the Brush Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Fryes grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
